DJ Bradley Jay entertained thousands at the famed WBCN River Raves at Boston’s Tweeter Center.
He has spun his magic spell at Foxboro Stadium, opening for Marilyn Manson, Coldplay, Green Day, Aerosmith, New Found Glory, Live and the Dropkick Murphys.
He so impressed big beat maestro, Fatboy Slim, that his is the first voice you hear on the latter’s seminal cult album, You’ve Come A Long Way Baby.
As one of his generation’s most adroit interviewers, he has conversed with a lexicon of entertainers, at the neo-Woodstock festivals and on the Red Carpet, at the Grammys, making him a sought-after main stage emcee at festivals and major cultural events.
Bradley Jay gained fame at WBCN, The Rock of Boston for more than two decades, as a deejay. This included a live broadcast from Moscow, in the early 90s, in one of the first ever sanctioned broadcasts.
Bradley is currently a host at WBZ-AM. He also shoots, edits, and hosts his Jay Talking “man on the street” video series. In addition, BJ does radio shows at Boston College’s WZBC. wzbc.org.
Don’t miss BJ the DJ on-stage as solo DJ/performance artist, as well as member of the performance trio “Thunder Brothers http://bradleyjay.com/videos/bradly-jay-live-performance-with-thunder-brothers/ at festivals and clubs.
Incidentally, he also has his first album out of originals, called Drive, out on Bandcamp. http://bradleyjay.bandcamp.com/album/drive-album

Multi-sonic, Bradley Jay has a quicksilver ability to enthrall audiences with rock, techno, dance, electronic and his celebrated mash-up/live performance artist mixes. He forges house-rocking mash ups live on-the-spot, swirling together clips from a diverse array of great artists over his own original tracks, melding an invigorating, unforgettable sonic tapestry audiences relish. The progressive, mad musical scientist also includes full covers of cool tracks and original songs, both rock and electronic, in his sets.
Bradley Jay’s live solo performance includes a live mash-up created on the spot using Ableton Live software as well as complete original and cover songs. The performance includes live vocal, keyboards, and sometimes a Gretsch bass guitar or a snare drum.
Bradley Jay is able to perform as a totally self-contained self-mixed artist. No sound person is necessary for the mix. If there is a sound person to tweak the master out-put for the room, all the better, but it is not necessary. All the house needs to provide are a right and left DI boxes and good PA. Bradley’s entire mixed output comes through right and left balanced quarter inch leads.
The Ableton Live mash-up mix is converted to audioby the Apogee Duet. The Ableton mix, vocals, and keyboards enter a Bradley’s mixer on stage. The main outs of the mixer go to the house. Bradley Jay’s gear includes: Ableton Live, Apogee Duet interface, TC Electronics Voicetone vocal box, Berhinger 802 mixer, Novation Xiosynth 25, Apple Laptop, SM 58 mike, in ear phones for monitor.
Fans grooving to hypnotic beats cheer when they hear drums from Radiohead and guitars from Black Sabbath and Beats from Trent Reznor, with vocals from Funkytown Lipps Inc or a serving of hand-crafted original techno beats pulsing under a mélange of drums and keys from Inna A Gadda Da Vida melded with guitars from Bowie or Rage Against the Machine. And and then there are the awesome original tracks as well. Don’t just take our word for it. Check out the demo video http://bradleyjay.com/videos/bradly-jay-live-performance-with-thunder-brothers/
